The package contains five games, all powered by Valve's Source engine. The first-person shooter Half-Life 2 and its first expansion, Episode One have both been previously released as separate products in November 2004 and June 2006, respectively. Three new games are also contained within the compilation: the second Half-Life 2 expansion Episode Two, the puzzle game Portal and the multiplayer game sequel to the Quake modification Team Fortress, Team Fortress 2.
